I started after a short period of launching my fist styles to work on some textures in Photoshop and came with like 63 different colors. I just selected like 42 to  be used in the game for the hairs. I created then an Elegant Updo but with a punk messy touch in the front. That is how Rebellion (Rebelión in Spanish) born. A nice detail about my textures is that when you use them at full bright they turn into gorgeous and even more realistic ones. Here are some pictures that show the bright side of the regular color. For Rebelion I did not use all my textures; just a few because I was still working on them when I started with this style.

Here in the front pictures the black color is at full bright. See the lines strikes at the side of the most closer picture? They look pretty realistic. They turn in a black colors with white highlights. In the little picture at the right top corner you can see the black texture but regular, Very natural as well.

For reasons regarding illumination and lights in SL the blonde regular textures don’t look exactly how I would like. I am not a photographer so I don’t master the lights when about to those the issue come. Nevertheless, when i use the full bright, then i can see the real texture color which if you look closer looks very realistic. Even though the regular color looks more whiter I do love my blondes over tons of other blondes in SL.

Realistic browns are another colors hard to find in SL. So I worked very hard to obtain the precise ones good enough for my taste.

This is one of the darkest browns. Using it at full bright makes it looks even more gorgeous.

This is the brownblack color. It will look nice no matter how you wear it; regular or at full bright.

I love this burgundy.

I know that lots of you love pink hair. I tried to create a pink look but more natural than simply the fake one that a lot of hair presents in SL.

Dark Grey.

Dress and jewelry wore in the pics are part of my collections and can be found at my stores.

After working with Rebelion (Rebellion in English) I started creating a piece of hair for my boys but I like it that much that ended up making it for girls. That is how Moruza born. Moruza is a very Spanish- puertorican word to describe the hair when it is all mixed up and you can not even determine what is the real style or don’t find a name to describe it.

When working Moruza I upload to the game all the textures I will use for my hairs for now. So, I realized that I needed to go with a setting like the rest of the hair makers. One picture and the color textures below or beside it offering several options inside one box. If I don’t do it that what I would ended up doing was uploading like 40 something pics every time that I create a hair which mean tons of money just to upload the textures to the game. Now I already have all the textures in the game and will just have to take one picture with some of the colors to place it on the top of the color packs. But because I realized this just in the middle of the process I have some pictures of Moruza in some of the colors. I will show you them here.

The first one is the demo box; that picture I talked that goes at the top of the colors boxes. I will not show here the color boxes to avoid ppl trying to download the picture to their computers to just copy the textures but I think that if you want to see all the available choices, please pay a visit to my main store. I only have Moruza at Main store. other stores are already at my prims limit so I need to decide how I will reorganize them to always have there the latest releases.

The next pictures where the first I started working with so these colors are part of one of the packs at stores. Moruza offers 4 colors per pack. Plus 4 more if you make copies and use those at full bright. You are then getting 8 pieces of hair for the price of just one.

At first and quick sight maybe some or you will think that some of the colors are the same; they are not. if you looks carefully there is a difference among all of them. Some a small difference; but it is there.

Some of the colors repeat in some packs; for example the there are two packs that have the brownblack color; also two packs have the brownblonde color. Why? because I am just using 42 or 43 colors and the odd number in some of the tones make me to include some repeated options to complete the 4 pack. So if you like one color but don’t like the other three that comes with it, looks carefully to see if that color you like is available in another pack.

There is a pack with a white color. That one gives you flexibility to makes copies and color it as you wish. But careful; to obtain nice looks you need to play with the color palette a little bit unless you don’t care to wear violets and oranges and yellows and greens, etc. as they appear in the palette.

I already started another set of hair textures with some already finished so I will play with them shortly to see how they look. Some will have tipped ends.

I pay my respect to those hair makers because the work is exhausting. For some people jewelry is exhausting; for me it is but hair in my case is more. Specially when retexturing the flexi prims.

Since I started creating I knew that hair was one of the creations I wanted to do. Just that I suspected the hard work behind it and leave it for after doing other stuff less complicated for me. For a lot of people, jewelry is complicated due to the use of very tiny prims. Nevertheless, for me those are the easy ones. Shoes were another one I needed to start and I did it. So now was the time to start with Hair.

While creating and working with special hair textures in Photoshop; I decided to give a try with the Textures available in-world and start. First to have an idea how to handle the hair prims and some styles and 2nd to see how hard the work really is. Believe me is hard. But what is hard is not what I thought would be.  Making a style is easy when you know how to handle prims. The hardest part is the texturing one. Specially changing textures once you have the style all done and every prim on place. Why? Because some of the flexi prims cover the entire back part or you hair prims base and are hard to reach to retexture. In addition, the flexi prims are another issue when you use a lot and some behind others. It is hard to get to them for retexture and you need to be careful cus part of them are transparent. So you need to select to change some part of the prim textures. Going beyond that, comes the shooting phase. Taking pictures and try to position your model in the same way every time trying to have the same shooting for all the hair. That is so boring to me. I hate to work with the same type of picture over and over again. Then come the clothe and the look you want to create for each hair style. uff finally another problem when you have more than one style in like, lets say 19 shades or tones. SL gives you the chance to name the first picture but the 2nd, 3rd and so on uses the same name with just a sequential number. When you get into your hard drive to work with the photos; you need to open SL and wear the hair to remember the name you use and the name you gave to each particular texture. All this is the hardest part. Exhausting and boring to hell. All this pictures phase is harder when you are not a photographer and don’t know all the tricks to make your life easy.

Anyway, I started with the hair creations with like 6 styles. But i just released 4 of them. I was so exhausted that stopped at one moment and decided to go with what i had so far. Here is the logo of the hair line:

  A nice silhouette that I worked a little bit and added the rest to make it look unique and different. 

I will show you some pictures of the hair already on sale in-world. But want to let you know that I will post here some of the textures I have been working with for the next hair styles I will be creating. Textures very realistic and colors very natural that I haven’t seen in SL until now. Let start with the already in stores styles.

Romance – flexi

This is a very nice style that is different from all the hair I have from other designers. Nicely worked and textured to create amazing shades within hair. It looks fantastic with my wooded set of necklace and earrings. I decided to use flexi prims just in the back to avoid the avatars costs which produces lag when we use a lot of flexi prims. So the sides were worked twisting some prims and placing them in a way that did not required to use flexi prims.

Alana – Flexi and non flexi

Both really looks good. I create these two choices due to a recent posting on SL Blog about Avatar Rendering Cost. ( “…Who me? Yes you! Couldn’t be! Then who?…” INTRODUCING AVATAR RENDERING COST). They published this blog and a lot of concern raises in the residents about the potentially dangerous this knowledge could be due to the fact that maybe a Sim owner or parcel owner can ban a person just for being the cause of the lag. I will not place here my opinion on this but just in case, i wanted to give choices for you not becoming so laggy . Nevertheless; flexi prims are wonderful and I love them and will continue to use it; just that I will try to use it wisely.

All ladies in SL knows that the use of flexi prim skirt is wonderful until it is time to sit. uggg the flexi skirt just go all the way down and u just have to deal with it. Now Zaph Creations will put the solution on some of the skirts we sell. For doing the test (see how the customers receive the new addition) we launched a simple little black dress and put it on sale for just L$75 with a complete instruction notecards. Until now; we haven’t received a single question about how to use it so I understand the instruction are clear enough so the customers can deal easily with the scripted skirt. Here is the dress pic.

See? I am sitting there and the skirt is in the right position. This is something you can adjust based on your AVI.

Illusions were the name that came into my mind when i started creating this beautiful set that can be used for a wedding or any formal activity. Just take a look.

These illusion set is already available in Gold, Silver Gold and Gold Silver Touch.  This week it is coming in red, burgundy, black and more.

For my  boys I created a chain necklace in silver and in gold with a sculpted cross that I made using tokoroten.

PART 1:

Prices as always will be reasonable. I think that if I will create for just some specific kind of customer that would not be fun for me. I want to see whoever likes my creations to be able to have it in one way or another. That doesn’t mean that maybe some day I can raise the prices a little bit for creations that I consider worth the price increase; but it will not be something out of this world. I love customers with high dollars in their pockets; but also love normal people that doesn’t have that much. Thinking on everybody first; I decided since I started creating to keep prices as low as I can . Even with a low prices creations you can have unique things and items that are not similar to any others in SL. That is what I try to do; so even if you are rich and want to wear from designers of high dollar items mine are an alternative due to their uniqueness and difference. I never never look on any other designers pictures to recreate an item. I see pictures of course because I am in fashion consolidated and i am a shopper too, but see the pictures just once and that’s it. Do not create with a picture of another designer opened trying to recreate what they did. So if by any chance something that I create looks similar to anybody else creation is a mere coincidence. I hate copy cats.

When I started creating shapes; I just did it using the Linden newbie template from my own basic shape; putting all in 0 for not been influenced by my own look. The marketing Strategy has varied since the beginning. In this field (marketing) of course I see what works fine for other and implement them to mine If I like it. Marketing is the basic to keep your business running so this for me is a field that is permissible to look into others to copy. lol. Business are business and in RL is like that. So what works for others will work for me. But this is just about marketing strategies; not trying to make a shape that looks like another designer shape; no no. If that happen again is coincidence and my shapes are totally different. While others love to make thin, very slim shapes, I do curveous women. Meat meat meat!!!! not just bones; I like meat and men too. lol well with some moderation ok.

Then when started making jewels; just started like crazy working with prims to see what I can do and from there I started creating necklaces and bracelets and earrings. Wao what a difference now from those days . And I was dared cus I put all on sale not matter what; and for me there were simply great. hahahaha. hummm them I started buying stuff from other ppl and started seeing others’ great work and saw that I had a long road still ahead ( and I still have it). But I work hard each day to be better and better.

Then one day decided to make shoes cus I love them and took a basic tutorial and from there started my owns creations. Never sold the shoes I learned to create. I just used what I learned to create a basic shoe base and from there put my personal touch. That is how Tacones ZC born.

Another day realized that my inventory was full of very nice fabric textures that I had collected since started SL but never used it. So I went to another very basic tutorial of making clothe and started making clothe for myself. But one day saw they looked so nice that decided to start selling clothe too. And of course, been able to handle prims very well; I use that ability to create different looks on my clothe designs.

Now I already took my first hair tutorial. Not even took notes so I will have to read it again lol. But already made a hair piece that is not too bad to be the first one. So I will improve that one and put it on sale soon. And will start doing what I love the most here which is hair. I hope that my number one hair designer don’t laugh at me (Queue Marlowe – I luv u girl). I have some hair designers that I really love their creations but there is a number 1 in my heart and that is Queue Marlowe from Analog Dog. What she does with hair is simply amazing. It is not only the style; it is a great combination of styles, textures and flexibility. I would love to have hair flexibility numbers hahahahaha.

Oh well so I had a lot still ahead. Since I sign in SL I wanted to be a creator and knew that I will be doing all. I come from the Technology area so for me all is attractive to play with and learn. So in the future you will see that Zaph Creations will be about all. That is why I used the word creations; to be able to include all. I have been playing with animations too. . Those are a little bit hard.

To finalize, I will be exploring all creating areas and at the end; those that I can handle better will stay forever; or as long as I live in SL. So keep and eye open and invite your friends to my group. I give to them gifts that are put on sale so are good designs not just something I did and came up wrong. I don’t do that with my group members. In addition some of the most expensive designs are from time to time put out for free in the hunting game and group members are the first to be notified about the hunting and I give them a time window so they can go and find the hiding gifts first than anybody else. Annnnnddddd, the VIP group members receive the same gifts as the regular group members plus a bonus which is often another great creation.

ZAPHIRY WHO DARE TO BE DIFFERENT

During this week I have been dedicated to create clothe for all those women that really love to dress like a real Hot Princess in a very unique way. Using some of the textures of the high heels released last week I have created some models that are really different and unique. Other textures used are not in my shoes but either way Tacones ZC has a very elegant and nice line of stilettos that serves the purpose of completing the look.

These outfits are already at main store and today I plan to put them on the satellite stores as well. The publicity will start going out inworld since tomorrow. Here are the pics so you can have a preview. Anddddddddddd as always, prices are really low when compared what you get for the money with my creations vs other ppl creations.

One of my famous concepts in clothing is the Multi Dress one. Why? Well, sometimes you pay L$400 for a dress that is just the shirt and the pants or both plus a skirt, That’s it. I don’t like that. I think you should get more for your money. So I decided to use in my clothe lots or prims and some variations of the same dress. This will give the customer more choices and can go back to reuse the dress in a different way. I don’t also like to repeat clothe so once I used a dress I never will use it again until at least I finish trying out all my wardrobe. My inventory has almost 29000 items so I have a lot from where to choose; but there are persons that doesn’t have that much. With this concept they will have sometimes more then 7 dresses in just one. So basically I set my prices depending on how much are you getting and from there I decide. Nevertheless, I try to keep my prices in a reasonable range so everybody can afford to dress from Zaph Creations.

Although maybe some of the new dresses are not so called multi (cus they have just a few possibilities to change look) they have some different ways of use it. If by chance one night I get tired and make a simple dress you will see that reflected in the price and in this bunch are like two of them. But are adorable anyway.

You can use any of the two versions of these shoes.Here is one of  those examples of an outfit that I did not call multi dress but anyway you have more than just one outfit in the box. If you look carefully you have a mini dress, and set of mini skirt and a pants set. All with different looks depending on the shirt. So if you divide 125 /3 = 41.66  per dress. So tell me if it is worthy or not. Instead of making 3 boxes and charging like L$50 or L$75 per box or maybe more; I prefer to put all in one box. This maybe isn’t smart business wise for a lot of people but I do really think of my customers first. I prefer to build loyalty and satisfaction which will bring eventually the dividends I pursue as a business woman.

Thanks God until today nobody has complained about my prices; I think would be unfair if someone do it; and want to take the chance to thank all those fans that week after week support my efforts and my hard work.

The jacket in silver metal (the one at the left of ur screen) uses a Texture that I created using Photoshop so you won’t find this texture in any other piece in-world. Soon I will be making a complete outfit with this texture.

Y me dio por hacer botas:

Esta fiebre de crear que traigo conmigo desde que me incie en SL me llevo a hacer zapatos y pues me quedan de lo mas chulitos aunque ma falta camino por recorrer. Tome un tutorial super baaaaaaasico que me enseño a hacer un zapato que ni puse jamas en venta lol. feo feo feo lol. Pero me enseno lo basico para partir desde ahi. Asi nacio Tacones ZC. Tacones porque en español le decimos tacones o como en mi pais ” Tacos”; y quise al menos capturar algo de mi amado idioma en algo de lo que hago. El ZC es obvio; Zaph Creations. So de ahi nace el nombre de mi linea de zapatos y todo lo que va en el pie.

Las botas como sabemos se usan muchisimo y quise crear unas que fueran basicamente para vestimenta casual en lo que desarrollo las de vestimenta mas formal; bueno la bota no es para ropa formal pero me refiero que no sean tan tan casuales. Los precios que les puse estan al alcance de todos y lo hice en especial pensando en los nuevos residentes (newbies) ya que al principio del juego no es facil obtene dinero para comprar cosas de disenadores originales. Por eso es que trato de mantener mis precios razonables.

Esta es la bota basica que se usa y le puse una banda con un adorno para que se vea mejor. El precio de L$70 considerando que tiene un sexywalk y el sonido (con un menu) es bastante barato en comparacion con los precios que fluctuan por ahi. Luego de hacer  esta quise hacer una para ponerle Fur (no se como decir eso en español); es como pelo de animal; y me puse a torcer un prim de modo que logre darle una forma que me permitio hacerlo. Es la siguiente bota. Usa la misma textura de la anterior mas el Fur y otros adornos que quise incluirle. Por eso es un poquito mas cara: L$75.

Bueno para combinar con las botas se me ocurrio hacer un traje corto sencillo y nacio uno en chenille azul. Este traje tiene una peculiaridad. Trabajando en PhotShop cree un jacket que al ponertelo; usando la textura invertida da la aparaiencia de una pieza en el cuello a la cual se le puede poner un pendiente, Entonces a este traje le añadi un pendiente muy lindo que se muestra en el recuadro de la foto. El precio tambien es justo considerando que me dio algo de trabajo crear el efecto del cuello que queria y hacer el pendiente y colocarlo donde debe ir. L$60. Es muy raro encontrar ropa original a estos precios.

Luego queria hacer zapatos en plataforma y me puse a manipular los prims hasta lograr una buena base; pero no queria el taco comun y corriente so cree un taco distinto. Como no tomo clases y pues he logrado todo esto como decimos torturando los prims y mirando que obtengo y guardando las piezas, pues comenze a crear un taco que me gustara para el zapato y asi surgen estos dos modelos:

Tengo un traje en venta que Se llama Zaph’s Delicate Leather mini dress que va perfecto con estos ultimos zapatos. Va bien con un set en madera que tengo el cual se ve espectacular puesto. Observen la foto.

Bueno ahora me voy a trabajar y cuando regrese les mostrare lo que saldra esta semana. Son 14 pares de zapatos; 12 beaded y dos sequin. Bellos. Y estoy trabajando en los trajes para cada par de zapatos. Asi que ojos abiertos. )
